MY BEAUTY IS NOT MY BEAST
In the latest chapter of my artistic journey, I'm thrilled to introduce you to my latest creative effort, "My Beauty Is Not My Beast." This giclee print, a detail of a much larger image standing almost 4'x8', captures the intricate tapestry of human dignity and the vibrant kaleidoscope of our cultural histories. The portrait is anchored by an arresting figure, whose serene expression speaks volumes. Their gaze is poised and reflective, providing a counter-narrative to the ch

Painting The Colors of Life
A wall painting by a local farmer surrounding his farm that expresses his opinion on climate change. "Painting the Colors of Life" is a powerful exploration of the human experience, blending traditional and contemporary techniques. Using charcoal, pastels, oils, and digital mediums, each piece reflects personal emotions and societal issues. Layered materials and contrasting colors symbolize life's fragmented nature, evoking moments of strength and fragility. The collection

The Fulani People: Between Tradition and Change
During my years in northern Nigeria, I came to know Fulani life not as a single fixed experience, but as one shaped by movement, family, work, tradition, and change. Some Fulani families continued a nomadic way of life, traveling with livestock or moving regularly between communities and markets. Others had settled permanently, often because education and employment created new opportunities in towns and cities. The women and girls I encountered reflected these different path

Exploring Tyrone Geter Art: A Journey into Artistic Vision
The Essence of Tyrone Geter Art Tyrone Geter’s art is a delicate balance of storytelling and abstraction. Each piece feels like a chapter in a larger narrative, inviting viewers to step inside and explore. What strikes me most is how he uses color, texture, and form to evoke emotions that are both personal and universal. His work often reflects on history—not as a distant past but as a living, breathing presence that shapes identity and experience. For example, in some of his

Exploring the Brave New World Art Collection
Art has a way of speaking to us beyond words. It invites us to pause, to reflect, and to journey inward. When I first encountered the Brave New World art collection, I was drawn not just by its visual allure but by the stories it whispered—stories of history, humanity, and the fragile threads that connect us all. This collection is more than a series of images; it is a narrative woven with brushstrokes and imagination, inviting us to explore a world both familiar and strange.
