It Time I Started Home

It’s Time I Started Home uses “home” as a metaphor for the souls of the sick and elderly who have reached the end of their earthly journey and are preparing to return to Heaven.
The painting reflects the tenderness, weariness, and dignity of those nearing the end of their stay here. Their departure is not portrayed only as loss, but as a peaceful home going, a transition from physical struggle into spiritual rest. Like the other souls in this collection, they are moving toward a place of light, freedom, and belonging, where they can finally be at peace.
