Figure In Black, White and A Spot Of Color | Charcoal, White Pastels, Torn Paper

This collection brings together a series of works built from torn paper, layered charcoal, and fragments of texture that mirror the complexity of life itself. Each collage is both rupture and repair—pieces that might seem broken on their own, yet when joined, form powerful portraits of women, men, and children.

The figures carry scars, memory, and struggle, but they also radiate strength, beauty, and wholeness. Nothing is discarded in this process; even the rough edges and absences carry meaning. Through layering, these drawings reveal the depth of human experience, showing that we are not defined by hardship but transformed by it.

Like life, these works are built in layers—fragile and enduring, fractured yet whole, alive in their presence.
