A Brave New World

Brave New World is built on an imagined future, yet it is one already seeded in our present. Rising seas, unbreathable air, fires left to burn, and children growing up in landscapes fractured by collapse—these realities shape a vision of a world where innocence is forced to carry impossible burdens. In these works, children step into the roles of parents, guardians, and even elemental beings, wielding lightning or commanding storms, not as fantasy, but as desperate acts of survival.

The torn paper, scarred surfaces, and fractured landscapes echo the ruptures of memory, history, and ecology. Yet within the chaos, there is always endurance: a bird with a broken wing still takes flight, children embrace as companions against the storm, and care extends beyond bloodlines to the collective whole. This series imagines not only judgment but also renewal. It asks whether, in the shadow of devastation, we can learn to live differently—guided by the resilience of children, the endurance of nature, and the possibility of redemption.
